"Therefore, as God's chosen people, holy and dearly loved, clothe yourselves with compassion, kindness, humility, gentleness and patience. Bear with each other and forgive whatever grievances you may have against one another. Forgive as the Lord forgave you. And over all these virtues put on love, which binds them all together in perfect unity." ~ Colassians 3:12-14

let your heart be light...

Nana's Christmas 2011
I just wanted to share a little something with everyone. I am in amazement AGAIN this year at my Nana's house. Not only am I amazed at how beautiful it is, but that she is 77 years old and does it ALL BY HERSELF!!! Christmas is such a special holiday to me...as I'm sure it is to many. Not only because it is the birthday of my Lord and Savior, but each Christmas brings back wonderful memories of the last. Hope everyone enjoys the pictures...I'm sure you will.

this is a tree with all her grandkids and great-grandkids names on it

just want to remind you...she does this all by herself...inside and out

the kids love it!

Nana has collected these Annalee dolls since I can remember...

Not sure how she got this up there...Nana, you better not be on a ladder that high!!!

I can tell...my kids love going to Nana and Papa's just as much as I did when I was little...and still do today. It's always a treat!!!

 Here's a few pics of our tree this year. Last Christmas is one very near and dear to my heart. I got to decorate Debbie's tree for her. I remember where she was sitting...what she was wearing and the blanket she had on her lap. I can honestly say...from the bottom of my heart...this is one of the few times in my life that I enjoyed being bossed around :). I always thought her tree looked beautiful every year and now I know why. She was so detailed and particular with the way she fluffed the tree after taking it out of the box and the placement of each ornament.  The fact that I get to use her tree this year is not taken lightly...I feel very blessed that it's apart of our Christmas this year!

My prayer for my family and yours this Christmas is PEACE! I pray that HIS presence and HIS peace overwhelm each and every one of you. Merry Christmas!!!
