E had his nine month check up today. Doctor said he looks great...other than not gaining much weight. When he had his 6 month check up he was 15+ lbs and now, at 9 months, is only 17+ lbs. He has been in the 10th percentile since he has been born and is beginning to fall off a little. She isn't concerned at this point and said he looks healthy, but said she would like for us to try to get more calories in him. For those of you that have seen the "shakes of excitement" when he sees food, should know that shouldn't be a problem. Here are some pics taken over the holidays of the gorgeous face of my little tiny.
NOPE...Would never go without posting some pics of E's First Christmas. He had a blast!
I knew my little man would just love the boxes and the wrapping paper, but to my surprise acted like he knew he was getting toys and loved every one of them.
As I am sitting here reflecting on the Christmas Holiday, I'm thinking...WOW how fast it zoomed by, but also how UNBELIEVABLY BLESSED our little family is (Jake, Easton, and I). These are times that I wish I was more outspoken and good with words because these are words that I want my family to hear. As I'm sitting at Nana's, Grammies, and Aunt Missy's...I am in amazement at how much I love our families and CAN NOT believe the way they love us and our precious E. Next time I promise not to let those moments pass by without gathering everyone up and telling them how much I love them and appreciate EVERYTHING they have done and been in our lives. Thanks to everyone for loving my little family!!!
(Unfortunately, I forgot my camera when we went to Aunt Missy's house on Christmas Eve night and Christmas Day. Hopefully I can get some pics from her or Aunt Sissy of our times we shared there :)
Biggest surprise of the day! My wonderful, unbelievably thoughtful sis took the time to make a book out of my blog. What an AWESOME surprise! She NEVER seizes to amaze me. Big Sis...you have no idea how much this means to me...I LOVE IT!
I think I can speak for Daddy and say, "this was the BEST Christmas EVER!"

Your words are perfect and very well expressed...except... I will repeat what I have said soooo many times before...Just like Brad Paisley's song....Thought I loved her THEN...just wait after 25 years...just something you can't explain....The love, happiness and joy just keeps getting stronger every moment of every day....
We do love your little family MORE than you will ever know!!!
I try everyday not to worry about you ... but you will always be my little girl...
and one day....you will worry about E..why?...because he will always be your little man...that will never change.
It's just something Mom's do....
That last picture makes my heart melt! I love it....Its touching to hear how special your first Christmas was with baby E. I really missed not getting to see everyone this year. Josh filled me in on the lil ones, but there is nothing like pictures so if you have any more please post!
Aimee...I love all the pics! Wasn't Christmas a blast?? Caleb was here last year, but he slept through all the events!!
And as far as Easton's check up - he looks perfect!! My dr. says a big round belly = healthy baby. Easton has a cute little pudgy belly. Caleb has always been around the 25th percentile since he was a baby. He just now weighs about 21 pounds and he eats like a pig!!
